All About Me

Hello! I am Crystal Keel, I have been teaching for 22 years. I live in Smyrna with my husband Chas and our two children. Our daughter, Casey, is 21 years old. She works as a dental assistant, here in Smyrna. Our son, Cavrin, is 19 years old and is a lawn tech for Advanced Lawn Solutions. They keep us busy!  My husband and I both are from small towns and grew up on farms.  We love Smyrna, it's our favorite!! 

I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades.  My absolute favorite and where I have spent most of my years is third grade.  Third grade ROCKS!!! 

 I attended Motlow State College and Middle Tennessee State University. I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I have taught all 22 years in Rutherford County.  I received Teacher of the Year at Rocky Fork Elementary in 2020 and once before that in 2006 at Smyrna Primary.  I love my job as a teacher!!
